Facing direct competition with Hinckley, an 80-year-old national icon, and growing threats from emerging European designers (who went as far as shooting their yachts flying an American flag), SanJuanYachts looked to its branding program to help capture the title of the “True American” builder of luxury Americana-style yachts. As well as convey the unsurpassable quality and value of their product. The transformation has defined SanJuanYachts’ heritage, boosted international brand recognition and SJY reported closing on 50% of their yearly quota during the first boat show that the brand debuted.
Key Insight: A luxury yacht is a work of art, both to the people who build it and the people who buy it.
